The shores of the western coast of California are dotted with harbors, inlets, bays, and rocky bluffs that cause even the most amateur photographer to drool while snapping that "perfect shot." Driving along the Pacific Coast Highway is never a fast adventure because around every bend is another pull off where tourists and locals alike pull off to breathe in the beauty of the coastal waterways and beaches. The sights are breathtaking, the atmosphere serene, and the smell of the ocean is inviting. The whole experience is one that will bring back smiles and memories and those old familiar phrases ...

In life we've been taught to strive for academic excellence, knowledge, degrees, accolades, success and accomplishments. Our walls are decorated with plaques and our shelves with trophies. We have initials behind our name, titles before it, and business cards imprinted with it. We measure ourselves by others and define our families and futures based on the experiences of others and what they have defined success to be. We wear a smile on our face externally and yet often wear a frown internally. We search and search for meaning, purpose and identity. Happiness; is it really that complicated? Does it come from ...

"PHOTOS. HUNDREDS OF THEM. FORGOTTEN. FOREVER!" How many photos have you taken that have gotten shoved into a box or filed on your computer in folders that rarely ever get viewed? How many do you quickly flip through or toss aside because they simply miss that WOW FACTOR that makes you stop and remember that one moment all over again? We hate boring photographs, in boring places, by bored photographers. The memories of our lives deserve much more attention than a quick click of a button. Our photo sessions are fun, lively and unique. We take the extra time to foster a ...

I am fascinated by old things... old photos, antiques, stories, cars, and just plain old junk. I love that antiques are considered "expensive" and "sought after" just because they are old. I love to look at old things and wonder where they were used at or what for. I love to hear elderly people talk about their lives, whether they were filled with grand adventures or just made up ones. I love old cars that lived through the cycle of new-used-rusted-refurbished-classic. Somehow the process of this cycle always gives me hope - hope that people who have "rusted" can ...

I snapped this shot a few days ago during a drive through the country – it’s the simple things I enjoy the most. There’s nothing exciting about barbwire and most people would never think to take a picture of it. However, I am always on the lookout for random things that wouldn’t catch the eye of a typical viewer. Why is that?... [Read more of this review]
Sometimes, nothing in life makes sense. One minute you see this grand picture of life and the next it’s all mottled, convoluted, strange, and chaotic. This picture was once a real image – one taken by a camera of a real object… then something happened… something affected it and changed it very nature and in the process what... I love all God’s creatures both great and small ……well, except for snakes and spiders. I have always had a great admiration for wildlife and their beauty. When I see a little deer, I think “Awwww, how cute, there is Bambi”. When my brother Scott sees a deer, he thinks, “Man, I wish I had my rifle”. I know... [Read more of this review]
While at the zoo recently I was at my favorite place, the prairie dog habitat. Aren’t they adorable little creatures? You just want to pick one up and hug it. I was walking around snapping pictures of these cute little furballs when all of a sudden something happened that surprised me to say the least. Apparently the prairie dog is somewhat...
